Find a Research Experience

REU programs are great opportunities to get hands-on experience and training in a research lab. An REU is typically like a summer internship. You can expect to work full time, usually over the summer, on a research project with help and support from other members of the lab who are typically graduate students or postdocs. These programs will give you a chance to experience what it’s like in graduate school! It’s never too early or late in your degree to apply for REU programs. It’s important to read the find print though because every program might have slightly different goals, eligibility criteria, housing, and financial benefits. Check out the links below to see some of the different ways to get research experience.
